Det finns en policy från eBay att de aldrig skickar ut mail där du via en länk skall knappa in dig med lösenord etc till ditt konto. Följer man detta så klarar man sig mot alla konstiga mail man får som utger sig komma fråb eBay.

Kan meddela att jag (möjligen lite naivt) lämnade jag ut mina kontouppgifter vid budgivning för en tid sedan och ännu har inget oönskat hänt (peppar-peppar, har dock begränsad kredit på just detta kort).

Kan du inte stoppa utlandsbetalningar på ditt kort? Jag har den möjligheten på mitt kort. Jag har det alltid spärrat utom när jag ska göra en utlandsbetalning.

Ja, då var ju det problemet löst!

Ebay vill veta att du har ett kort och alltså är en i ekonomiska sammanhang seriös person. Och då kan man ju faktiskt direkt i ebays site registrera ett kort... detta eftersom ebay i grunden är lika seriösa som vilken som helst firma som får ta betalning via kort.

Risken att något obehagligt skulle hända i detta fall är lika liten som om du handlar på Clas Ohlson eller din lokala ICA-affär! Och jag kan garantera att du inte får någon gammal köttfärs från ebay!

SA (som började handla på ebay och fick ihop en bra värdering långt innan sådana hära påhitt tillkom)

Jag la ett bud på ett lok igår,och idag kom följande varning från ebay skrivet både på Engelska och Tyska.Nu var jag inte högst.
